Regardless of the intended YAL audience, I am (and always will be) a HUGE fan of Young Adult Literature. Not only are YA novels thought-provoking and entertaining, but they lend teachers that extra opportunity to relate to their students on a personal and intellectual level. There is no shame in admitting that these books are inspiring and fun to read -- no matter what your age may be!
